Has anyone else looked into the local economic impact ever since Stephen Howard went missing? I grew up around Pink Hill, and my family has been involved in the farming community for decades. I remember hearing about how Stephen's ventures were well-known, though controversial, due to his ties with smuggling. Ever since his disappearance, it seems like the local tobacco industry has struggled even more, like there's been a ripple effect. Could his absence and the subsequent law enforcement attention have inadvertently pushed more local farmers out of business, or maybe even into similar practices to stay afloat? I’m curious if anyone else has noticed a shift in the community economy or if this is more coincidental than it seems. Any thoughts?
