It's incredibly troubling when such senseless violence occurs, and my heart goes out to Charlisa Reed's family and friends. I've been following this case and what strikes me the most is the role of the community in rallying for justice. It seems like Charlisa's mother, Anita, has been relentless in her pursuit of answers, even going as far as obtaining video footage herself. It makes me wonder about the level of engagement or assistance in cases like these. How much of a role should community members play, especially when it feels like the investigation is stalling? I'm hoping someone with information will come forward soon, so both her family and Charlisa can find some peace. It's just so devastating that the family had to offer such a significant reward to get people to come forward. Stay strong, Memphis.
