I can't stop thinking about the impact that events like these have on the young survivors, especially the 15-year-old girl who was critically injured. I can't imagine the trauma she's experiencing, not just physically but emotionally, losing loved ones so violently and so suddenly. It’s hard to wrap my mind around how she will process this and find a way forward. I hope there are resources or support systems in place to provide her with not only the medical care she needs but also the psychological and emotional support. No one should ever have to go through something so awful, let alone someone so young. My thoughts are with her and all the family members who are trying to make sense of this senseless tragedy.
