I've been following the case surrounding the tragic loss of Howard "E.J." Jordan, and one thing that's been really bothering me is how this senseless act impacted his family, especially his kids. I can't imagine how devastating it must be for them to lose a father so suddenly and violently. E.J. was clearly a beloved figure in their lives, given how fondly he's remembered for his smile and love. While we discuss the details of the case, let's not forget the families who are left picking up the pieces. It's always heartbreaking to think about those left behind in the wake of such horrific events. I really hope the community can come together to support them through this incredibly difficult time. Does anyone know if local groups are organizing any support or tributes for his family?
I can't stop thinking about how terrifying it must have been for the other people in that apartment during the shooting. Imagine being there to witness such a tragic and violent act against someone you know, and then having to fear for your own life as shots are fired in your direction too. My heart goes out to them, as well as to Howard's family. The bravery it takes to provide witness accounts in such a traumatic moment is unimaginable. I hope they are all receiving the support and care they need right now. It’s a stark reminder of how suddenly life can change, and how deeply these events resonate beyond just the immediate victim.
