Has anyone else seen the coverage about the "Light the Night Memorial" that the community held for Lily Basil? It's really touching to see how a town comes together in such a beautiful way to honor someone they lost. Turning on a porch light or lighting a candle might seem like small gestures, but it’s so meaningful when an entire community does it in unison. Something about seeing all those lights just brings a sense of unity and remembrance. It's clear that Lily left a big impact in the short time she was at Page High School. My heart truly goes out to her family and all her friends as they navigate through this incredibly tough time. This kind of loss is so profound and affects everyone. I hope they know they have people standing with them in their grief.
