I can't stop thinking about the courage that John Franklin Goosie showed during that awful night outside The Pint House. It's just devastating to see someone try to do the right thing and lose their life in the process. From everything I've read and heard, John was just trying to help out and diffuse a tense situation. It's hard to imagine the fear and chaos in those moments, yet he stepped in regardless of the danger. What really gets to me is how someone with such a long history of crime, like Matthews, was even able to just walk around and continue causing harm. It's unsettling knowing that people with such extensive criminal backgrounds can still end up in these kinds of situations. This just highlights how many cracks there are in the system meant to protect us. My thoughts are with John's family and friends. I can't imagine the pain of losing someone like this and I hope they get the justice and answers they need.

I keep thinking about how brave John Goosie was during that terrible night at The Pint House. It's beyond comprehension to imagine a person stepping in to defuse a dangerous situation like that, putting others before himself. It's a testament to his character. I hope his family finds solace in knowing how courageous he was, even in his final moments. It's such a profound loss not only for them but also for our community. I'm just left wondering if there's more that could be done to ensure the safety of patrons and employees at local hangouts. Would love to hear thoughts on improving security measures to prevent senseless tragedies like this. ?

I can’t stop thinking about what John's friends and family must be going through. I read that he was just trying to help out during that awful altercation. It takes a really brave person to step up in such a tense situation. It’s just so tragic that his life ended because he was trying to do something good. Seeing those who knew him talk about his kindness and willingness to help others really highlights the loss felt by the whole community. It makes you wonder, what drives people like Matthews and Davis to make such violent choices? My heart goes out to everyone grieving John and Zachery. I hope they can find some comfort, knowing that people all over are thinking of them.
