This whole situation with Susel is just so tragic and baffling. I've been following the case closely and can't help but wonder about the safety measures—or lack thereof—that were in place when this "accidental" gunshot occurred. I mean, why was the gun being handled in the first place? The fact that a young mother lost her life and a little girl is now left without her mom is absolutely devastating. I'm really hoping for more clarity from the investigation and some accountability. I can't imagine the pain her family is going through and hope they eventually find the justice and answers they need. Anyone else heard any updates from local news about the investigation? My heart goes out to everyone affected by this senseless loss.
