Just reading about Tom Kemmer's tragic death has left me thinking a lot about the mental health aspect of this case. It's so tough to wrap my head around how someone like Jeremy Dailey, with such a complex history of mental illness, ended up in this situation. I’ve seen some debates over the insanity defense, and it’s a difficult concept for many to grasp, especially when the end result is such a senseless loss. I can't imagine what Tom's family is going through after hearing the details of the attack and then having to sit through a trial like this. It's a stark reminder of how important it is to balance justice for victims with understanding the mental health struggles that some individuals face.
