I've been following the Michael Maisner case closely, and I can't wrap my head around how chillingly calculated some of Marisa Rodriguez's actions were. Seeing the details about the purchases she made with Michael's bank card gives me the creeps. I mean, a gas can and a chainsaw? What was going through her mind? It’s terrifying because it shows a level of premeditation that's more than disturbing. It's tough to imagine how the Maisner family must be feeling with every new piece of evidence that's revealed. Sending them so much love and strength as they navigate this awful and drawn-out process.

I recently came across a report about forensic experts using digital evidence in the Michael Maisner case, and I can't stop thinking about how vital it was in cracking this case. Given how well Rodriguez hid away in the attic, it makes me wonder how many cases go unsolved or take much longer without the digital trail we often leave behind. The chilling think about this is that the key evidence didn't come from traditional detective work but from digital footprints. It's such a vivid reminder of how interconnected our lives are with technology and how our devices can tell stories we might not be able to tell ourselves. I'm hoping this provides some closure for Michael's family; they deserve answers after such a horrific ordeal.
