I’ve been following Nazeem Rains’ case closely and can’t stop thinking about the courage of the witnesses who decided to come forward. In a neighborhood where fear often keeps people silent, their bravery is truly commendable. Sharing what they saw must have been incredibly difficult, especially with the looming threat of potential retaliation. While nothing can undo the pain for Nazeem’s family, these witnesses have given them a chance at justice, and that deserves all our respect. I hope the community can rally around them and provide the support they all need during this tough time. Keeping the families of all involved in my thoughts.
