I'm really torn up over what happened to the Pérez-Salome brothers and Joshua Lugo-Pérez. To lose such young lives and a promising young adult in such a senseless act of violence is deeply disturbing. I can't stop thinking about their family and the immense grief they must be feeling right now. It's a painful reminder of the widespread issue of gun violence that affects so many communities across the country. I'm particularly shocked by the role of Alex Torres-Santos. I mean, how does someone on house arrest with an ankle monitor even find themselves in such a situation? It points to a severe breakdown somewhere in the system that allowed him to be involved despite these restrictions. It's a bit comforting to know that the authorities have been proactive and swift in charging those responsible. Yet, it doesn’t change the fact that nothing will bring back those innocent boys and Joshua. Hoping that the family finds some solace in the community's support and that meaningful action is taken to prevent future tragedies. Thoughts are with them as they navigate this unimaginable heartbreak. What are your thoughts on how the community and law enforcement are handling this so far?

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of the Pérez-Salome brothers and Joshua Lugo-Pérez in Lebanon, PA, and my heart goes out to the families and friends affected. One aspect that's really troubling to me is how the justice system allowed someone like Alex Torres-Santos to remain a potential threat while on house arrest. I mean, he was wearing an ankle monitor for firearm offenses, yet somehow was still able to participate in an act that led to such unimaginable loss. Why is it that restrictions like house arrest aren't tight enough to prevent something like this? It seems like a serious failure in oversight that needs to be addressed. It's frightening to think about the gaps in our system that can enable dangerous situations to occur, despite measures meant to prevent them. Does anyone else feel like there needs to be more accountability and stricter enforcement for those with serious prior offenses? I'd be interested to hear any thoughts or insights on this. It's just so painful knowing this might have been preventable. Keeping the families in my thoughts.
