Was anyone else struck by the strong bond CJ seemed to have with his family and his love for his siblings? It breaks my heart to think of how much they must be struggling with his loss. As a fellow anime lover, I can’t help but feel a connection just imagining him geeking out over Pokémon cards and gaming on his PS5. Those shared interests make him feel so relatable. The way his mother described him as a "shining star" just shows how deeply loved he was. It's a reminder of how quickly life can change and how much we need to cherish those around us. I hope the trial brings some sense of justice and peace to his family.
