I've been thinking a lot about the vigil held at Bollinger Playground for Damian. It’s incredibly moving to see the community come together with such powerful support for his family and friends. I didn't know Damian personally, but from everything I've read, it seems like he left a significant impact on those around him. The balloon release was a beautiful tribute; you could really feel the love and hope for justice in the air that night.
I can't even imagine how his family is coping right now. Losing someone so young, in such a senseless way, must be an indescribable pain. It’s frustrating and upsetting that no arrests have been made yet. I hope that anyone with information finds the courage to speak up soon. Damian and his family deserve answers and justice.
