Just wanted to share some thoughts about Steven's case that have been weighing on me. It really hits hard to think about what his family and friends must be going through. I came across his memorial page and was struck by the outpouring of love and memories shared by those who knew him. It's clear that Steven was cherished by his community and family, and it's so tragic that his life was cut short in such a senseless manner. I'm particularly troubled by the fact that no arrests have been made yet. I know these investigations take time, but it's concerning that there seems to be little progress. The lack of answers must be so frustrating for the family, who need closure and justice. Something else that stands out is the broader issue of gun violence in Philly. It's like every time you turn around, there's another story about someone young and full of promise lost to this kind of violence. What can we do as a community to help police solve these crimes? How can we hold those in power accountable to make real, impactful changes? Sending love and strength to Steven’s family and friends during this such a difficult time.
