Have you seen the recent developments in the Lamar Alston case? I read that a suspect was finally arrested in September, but there's still so much we don't know about what happened that night. It's hard to imagine the pain his family and friends are feeling as they wait for justice. I wonder if there were any witnesses or if any new evidence has come out since the arrest. It seems like a long road ahead for everyone involved. If anyone has more info or just wants to share thoughts, I'm here to listen. ?️

I've been following the Lamar Alston case, and there's something that's been on my mind. I've been thinking about the community's response and support, especially after the suspect was arrested. It's so important that we remember the impact on Lamar's family and friends who are going through an unimaginably difficult time right now.
Does anyone know if there's been any community gatherings or vigils held in his honor? I feel like sometimes we focus so much on the legal aspects that we forget about coming together as a community to support those who are grieving. If anyone has info or knows how we can help or show solidarity, I’d definitely love to hear about it.
