Has anyone seen the recent updates on the fundraising campaign the daughters started to send their mom's remains back to her home country? It's truly devastating that these young women now have to deal with such a tragedy. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're going through, not only losing their mother but dealing with the circumstances around it. It's a horrible situation all around. I saw they set up a page, and it looks like there’s a lot of support from the community, which is heartwarming to see. Hoping they find the peace and closure they deserve. If anyone has more info on the memorial service or ways to help, please share.
Has anyone else been following the fundraising efforts by the daughters of Librada Reyes De Peralta? I can only imagine how devastating it must be for them to deal with such a traumatic loss while also facing the logistics and expenses of sending their mother back to her home country. It must be so overwhelming, trying to honor their mom's wishes in the midst of this nightmare.
It really highlights the human side of these tragedies, beyond just the crime itself. If anyone knows of any legitimate fundraising links, please share them. It would be nice if we could come together to support them in any way we can, even if it's just spreading the word. My heart goes out to their family during this unimaginably difficult time.
