I’ve been following the Eddie Irizarry case and can't stop thinking about the role of body-worn cameras in holding law enforcement accountable. The fact that initial reports were contradicted by video footage is really concerning. It makes me question how often this disconnect happens when there's no video to provide clarity. Without the body cam footage, it's scary to think what the narrative might have been. My heart goes out to Eddie’s family who have to endure not only the loss but these complex legal twists.
