Does anyone else feel like this tragic event has really opened a necessary conversation about the alarming rate of domestic violence? Janikqua Anderson seemed like such a compassionate soul, working in healthcare and dedicating herself to helping others. It's hard to imagine what she and her brother went through, and it’s even harder to understand why it came to this. It’s reassuring to see the Erie community coming together to support each other through events like the "Take Back the Site" vigil. These gestures, though small, feel so vital in fostering a united front against violence and remembering the joys and lives of those taken too soon. If anyone attended the vigil, I’d love to hear more about how the community is really rallying around this cause. Peace and healing to all affected by this tragedy.
