Just came across this devastating incident involving Megan Saunders. It’s so tough to wrap my head around how deep-rooted issues like domestic violence can ripple through entire communities. When I read that neighbors actually witnessed the chase and heard those gunshots, my heart goes out to them as well. It’s a traumatic experience that nobody should have to endure, especially when you think about the children and other families living nearby who were affected by the shelter-in-place order. I’m also wondering about the history of that stolen .380 caliber pistol from 1984... It’s chilling to think about how this weapon has been floating around for decades, and tragically ended up in the hands of someone like Devon Elias. Makes you question how such firearms continue to circulate and what more could be done to track them down. Sending love to everyone affected, especially Megan’s child. I hope there’s a strong support network rallying around, ensuring they have everything needed to heal from this terrible loss.
