Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Orlando Ibáñez closely, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the timeline of events immediately after the shooting. It's chilling to consider that Evander Terrel Thompson allegedly had the presence of mind to text "he dead" just minutes after the incident. It makes you wonder about the mindset someone must be in to communicate something like that so casually. I can only imagine how devastating it must be for Orlando's family and friends to not only lose him in such a violent manner but to also know that this text was sent right after. The whole situation is deeply unsettling, and I hope that justice is served for Orlando and his loved ones. Has anyone else been thinking about the mental state required to carry out and then boast about such a heinous act? It’s sad to see a community repeatedly affected by such senseless violence. My heart goes out to everyone involved, and I hope some form of closure can come from the upcoming court proceedings. Stay safe, and let's keep the discussion going.

Does anyone know what compelled Evander Thompson to do this? I’ve been following Orlando Ibáñez’s case since it happened, and it just doesn’t make sense to me. The fact that there’s footage of Thompson going to and from the scene is damning, and that text message is chilling. I can’t imagine what Orlando’s family is going through, knowing someone just walked up and did this to him. I'm curious if there’s any information about the relationship between Orlando and Evander. Were they acquaintances, or is there any known motive? Such a tragic situation—sending love and strength to Orlando’s loved ones as they seek justice.
