I’ve been following the case of Trisha Renee Cole, and I can’t stop thinking about what must have gone through her mind in those final moments. It’s devastating to consider how she had so much more life ahead of her, especially with the exciting prospect of bringing a new life into this world. What a cruel injustice. It’s haunting to imagine the struggles she faced, especially when reading about Greeley’s aggression and threats towards her and her pregnancy. It’s chilling how deep the hostility must have been for it to escalate to this horrifying outcome. Her family and local community must be going through unimaginable pain right now. Let’s not forget the love she shared with those around her and the joy she brought into people’s lives. Her friends and family speak of her kindness and the way she lit up that skating rink, a place that gave her so much happiness. Rest in peace, Trisha. You deserved so much better.
