Hey everyone, I’ve been following the tragic case of Thurston Cooper and Krystina Chambers and can’t stop thinking about how eerie it must have been for them in those final moments. What baffles me is how Lamar Young and Dale Johnson managed to persuade them to leave Tellups Tavern in the first place. It seems like a busy place, and from what I’ve read, Cooper and Chambers weren’t the type to easily trust others. I wonder if there was any prior relationship or interaction between the victims and Young and Johnson that might have made them feel more at ease, or if someone else might have been pulling the strings to arrange that meeting. Could it have been under the guise of some business deal or personal matter? It’s painfully frustrating knowing that such horrific violence could stem from something so preventable. My heart goes out to the families who are left searching for answers. If anyone has thoughts or info about their backgrounds or connections pre-February 29, I’d love to hear more about it.
