Whoa, this case has really shaken me. I can't stop thinking about the witness statement describing hearing glass breaking and screaming. I can't even imagine what those horrifying sounds must've been like to hear so early in the morning when everything else is so still. It’s chilling to think about how fast things can escalate. My heart goes out to Derek Sherer's family and neighbors, who are probably still trying to wrap their heads around this tragedy. It’s always unsettling when such violence disrupts a peaceful community. Praying that the investigators can piece together what truly happened and that some form of justice or resolution can come out of this heartbreaking situation. Does anyone live close by? What’s the mood been like in East Greenville since this tragedy?
