Hey everyone,

I've been thinking a lot about how cases like Corey's can sometimes slip under the radar, overshadowed by the grim statistics of ongoing violence in the city. It's just incredibly frustrating to think about how his family and friends must feel with the case unresolved for so long. I can't even imagine the sense of helplessness they must be experiencing.
The fact that Corey was found right there in the street, a stark reminder of the violence that occurs all too often, just breaks my heart. It makes me wonder about the neighborhood and if anyone saw anything or heard any details that night. I sometimes question how safe people in Juniata Park must feel now, or if they've become numb to this cycle of violence. If anyone from the area is on here and feels comfortable sharing their perspective, you could really help shed some light. There's power in community support, both in healing and in seeking justice.
Hopefully, with collective pressure and continued dialogue about the importance of public cooperation, there can be some long-awaited answers and closure for all those affected by this senseless act. In the meantime, let's keep Corey's story alive and remain hopeful for a breakthrough.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the discussion about Corey Coston's case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this has on his family and friends. Philly's community has been supportive, but knowing that those who loved him are still waiting for justice is truly distressing. It must be incredibly frustrating for them, and their trust in getting answers must be wearing thin after so many months with no arrests or leads.
Every day that goes by without progress must feel like a reminder of their loss. The need for public support and any new information is clear, but I also think about the emotional toll on those left behind. It’s a painful reminder of how vital community involvement is—not just for solving these crimes but for offering some solace to the families who are suffering.
If anyone hears anything or sees something suspicious, even if it seems insignificant, it might be the piece of the puzzle investigators need. Let's continue to support the community and provide any information we can to the proper channels.
Peace to Corey's loved ones.
Has anyone else here been following Corey Coston's case? It's been almost a year, and there's still no answers. I can't imagine how his family must be feeling, going through the holidays without any closure. It’s so frustrating and sad to see another case where justice seems so distant. ?
I remember reading somewhere that he lived on Belden Street, not too far from where he was found. It's hard to picture a neighborhood that's supposed to feel like home becoming such a site of tragedy. His neighbors must be on edge, not knowing who did this or why. I hope anyone who might know something comes forward. Every little detail could be a piece of the puzzle.
Philadelphia's gun violence problem seems to just keep getting worse, and it's affecting so many lives. What do you all think could be done to make a change? I really hope we see some breakthroughs in this case soon.
