It hit me hard reading about Darell’s recent trip with his cousin Anton to the LeBron James Museum. You could just tell he was a kid filled with joy and potential. It's devastating to imagine how a moment full of excitement could be followed by such tragedy. I truly hope that the community can come together to support Darell’s family and stand with Anton in his mission to combat gun violence. It's so important for us to engage with and support our youth to prevent more lives from being taken too soon. Everyone who has any information, please, let the authorities know—it could make all the difference. My heart goes out to everyone who loved Darell and is feeling his loss.
I was reading about Darell's tragic story and felt compelled to share my thoughts. It’s incredibly difficult to process the loss of such a vibrant young person. Darell's love for dancing and his close bond with his family paint a picture of a joyful teen with so much life ahead of him. His cousin, Anton Moore, has been a voice against gun violence for years, and I can only imagine how personal this loss is for him and the entire family.
