I'm just trying to wrap my head around the tragedy at Ballers Hookah Lounge. I keep thinking about the families of Nathaniel Smiley Jr. and Stephanie Stuart. I can't imagine the pain they must be going through right now. And for the others who are still recovering, it must be a nightmare that just won't end. What really stands out to me in all this is the fact that the lounge didn't have a liquor license. Makes you wonder how well those types of places are regulated. Were there corners cut that could have prevented this? And what was the security situation actually like if the guard himself was involved in the shooting? Chaz Jackson’s charges are serious, but I hope it’s not just him taking the fall if more people are involved. Justice should be served fully. If anyone knows more about how these places operate or what might have led up to this, it would be great to hear your thoughts. There’s still so much we don’t know, and I hope more people come forward to help piece this tragedy together. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this senseless act.
