I can't stop thinking about the bravery Ruben showed that night. It's incredibly moving how he stepped in to protect his neighbor, even putting himself in harm's way. I've walked through that neighborhood a few times, and it seems like everyone knew him as the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. It's a reminder of how tight-knit these communities are and how one person's actions can ripple through so many lives. I can't imagine the loss his family and friends must be feeling right now. It's important for all of us to remember the courage he showed and to think about what we can do to support one another in times of crisis. My heart goes out to everyone mourning his loss.

I can’t stop thinking about the loss of Ruben Ramos. It’s just so devastating for his family, friends, and all the neighbors who knew him as such a kind-hearted and brave person. I live near the area, and there's been a lot of talk about how he would always go out of his way to help anyone who needed it. It’s just gut-wrenching that such bravery in trying to protect his community led to his life being taken. The reality of facing someone armed with a gun when all you have is the courage to protect those around you is unnerving. It's a harsh reminder of how risky it is to take action like that. I understand the police's advice about calling them instead, but when you're in the moment, it must be such a tough decision. My thoughts are with Ruben’s family, especially his daughter, who will carry his memory and the loss for the rest of her life. Such a senseless and heartbreaking situation for everyone involved. Let's all hope justice is served in the upcoming trial.
