I was wondering if anyone else has been thinking about the location where Kevin Massey was found. Price Street near U.S. 421 doesn’t seem like a place you'd just randomly end up, especially late in the day. Erwin is a tight-knit community, and it gets me thinking about whether Kevin knew the area really well or if there’s some significance to that spot in particular. It's so upsetting to imagine him there alone. I can’t help but feel there might be more to what happened that could help us understand how this awful event unfolded. Did he know the person who approached him, or was he just caught in the worst possible situation by surprise? My heart goes out to his family and friends having to navigate through the unknown and the pain of his loss. If anyone has any insights or thoughts, please share. It's important we try to piece together whatever we can.
