Has anyone else been following the tragic shooting at the Marketplace Shopping Center in New Bern? It's devastating to think about the loss and pain the families must be going through. I was especially moved hearing about Mishawn Jackson's family—he left behind a wife and five children. I can't imagine the heartache they're experiencing. One detail that stood out to me was the sheer number of shots fired—over 20 rounds. It's chilling to think about how chaotic the scene must have been. You have to wonder what could have escalated to that level of violence. I've been hoping that there might be more clarity on Nealy's motives or what exactly transpired that night. For now, holding onto the idea that the investigation might bring some closure to the families involved. If anyone has more info on how the community is supporting Mishawn's family, I'd love to hear about it. Let's keep his loved ones in our thoughts.
