I've been following the Shantae McCauley case for a while, and I can't stop thinking about his family, especially his young son, TaeShaun. It must be incredibly difficult to lose a parent at such a young age and have to navigate life without that presence. I hope the community offers as much support as possible to them during this time. I have been wondering if there were any witnesses near Winston Road and U.S. 29-70 who might have seen what happened before the shooting. It's one of those intersections where there's always a bit of traffic, and I'm curious if anyone saw the vehicle Cornas Sullivan was in or anything suspicious. If anyone reading this happened to be nearby that day, even the smallest detail could help to piece together what happened. Let's hope the investigation brings justice to Shantae and offers some closure to his family.
