I was thinking about the role music plays in these kinds of gatherings and how it can sometimes escalate or calm a situation. It's so distressing to think that a night meant for fun and socializing ended in such tragedy for Darryl and his friends. I heard from someone who was at the party that there was a shift in the atmosphere right before everything went down, and it makes you wonder if there was something someone missed or an intervention that could have happened. They said Darryl loved music and even organized playlists for his friends’ get-togethers, making sure the songs fit everyone's vibe. It's hard to comprehend that someone so focused on making others happy could be taken from us so abruptly. I didn't know Darryl personally, but hearing about his passion for music and making others smile really resonates. My thoughts go out to his family and friends who knew and loved him, and I hope the investigation provides them with the answers they deserve sooner rather than later.
