I haven't been able to stop thinking about Stephon Harris's case. It’s terrifying to think how these tragic events can impact a community. Has anyone else looked into the backgrounds of the suspects? Jamarie Andrew Hernandez and Selemia Jasniqua-Shena Love were arrested pretty swiftly after the crime. I find myself wondering about their connection to Stephon. Were they acquaintances, or could there have been another motive? Family and friends have shared some beautiful memories of Stephon, especially during the celebration of his life at the Pauline T. Buie Chapel. It’s clear he was profoundly loved by many. I just hope we see some justice soon for Stephon’s sake and for his children, who now have to grow up without their father. Let’s keep them in our thoughts and hope for some closure.
