I've been following the case of the tragic shooting at the Shell Food Mart, and I can't help but wonder about the impact on the families involved. As someone who grew up in a tight-knit community, I know how difficult it must be for Nhazavias's loved ones during this time. It's unimaginable to lose someone so young and full of potential.
I also think about Zakiya and what she must be going through after such a harrowing experience. Her bravery in the face of this incident is commendable, and I hope she's receiving the support she needs. It's times like these that really test a community, but I have faith that Rocky Mount will rally together to find the truth and bring justice.

I can't stop thinking about the security footage from the Shell Food Mart. I know they mentioned the police have been reviewing evidence, and it makes me wonder if they have any video of the area around the time of the shooting. It's just so unsettling to think that such a horrific event could happen at a place as common as a gas station, where people stop by every day without a second thought.
