Has anyone looked into the potential connections between the area where the shooting occurred and any recent incidents of crime in the Sullivan Street neighborhood? It's terrifying to think that Deja and the other young woman were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It makes me wonder if there are underlying issues in that area that are going unnoticed. Deja's story deeply resonates, not just because of her potential and talent but also as a reminder of how quickly life can change due to random violence. It’s crucial for the Greensboro community and the university to keep pushing for answers. Hopefully, the ongoing investigations will lead to some concrete steps to improve safety around the campus—we owe it to Deja and her family to make sure nothing like this happens again. If anyone has more information related to other incidents around that area or ways the community can reach out to the authorities with tips, please share. We need to do everything we can to prevent further tragedies like this one.
