Does anyone else feel uneasy about the fact that no arrests have been made in the Lassiter and Gilliam cases? I’ve been following the updates, and it’s really unsettling to think that whoever is responsible is still out there. I can't even imagine what the families are going through, especially since both incidents happened in such a similar manner and time frame. It almost feels like everyone is holding their breath, waiting for some kind of breakthrough while trying to carry on with their lives. The need for community support couldn't be more apparent. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail, it could make a world of difference. It's hard not to feel for the victims’ families who are left with so many unanswered questions. Let's hope the investigators get the resources and info they need soon.

Hey everyone, I've been following the news about Horace Lassiter Jr.'s case, and something that’s been bothering me is how scary it is for the community right now. We’re talking about two similar incidents just days apart, with both victims being approached at their own homes. It must be incredibly distressing for residents to wonder who might be next or if there’s a connection between these tragedies. I can’t help but think about how difficult it must be for the families of Horace and Ricky Gilliam, dealing with their loss while also wanting answers. I hope law enforcement is able to find a breakthrough soon. If anyone nearby has seen or heard anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Let's hope for some justice and peace for the families and community. Stay safe, everyone.

I’ve been following the recent discussions about the tragic events in Bertie County, and something that's been on my mind is the unsettling pattern of these door-knock incidents. Horace Lassiter Jr.’s death is the second with almost identical circumstances in just two days. This can’t be a coincidence, right? It’s terrifying to think about the vulnerability these situations create, leaving everyone in the community feeling unsafe in their own homes. What really gets to me is the thought of Horace simply going to answer his door, probably without suspecting anything sinister. It's a harsh reminder of how quickly life can change under such violent and incomprehensible acts. My heart truly goes out to his family and friends— I can’t even begin to imagine the grief and fear they're enduring. Has there been any community gathering or meeting organized by the local authorities to address these concerns? I think it's crucial for the residents to feel like their voices are heard and that every possible measure is being taken to prevent such tragedies from happening again. Let’s continue to share any updates or insights we might have and keep supporting each other through this difficult time.
