Hi everyone, I was just thinking about how incredibly isolating things must have been for the Steele family, especially after learning that Ethel was homeschooling the kids. We often hear about the socialization challenges that come with homeschooling, and I can't help but wonder if they had a support system outside of their immediate family. Did the kids have friends or groups they were involved in? It's so important to have connections, even more so in challenging times. My thoughts are with the extended family and friends who are undoubtedly searching for answers and coming to terms with this unimaginable loss. It’s times like these that really make me hope more resources are made available for families who might be struggling in silence. ?
