Eleazar Barrera, aged 21, was found dead on April 26, 2009, in Houston, Texas. The investigation initially yielded little information, and the case went cold for several years. However, in 2021, the Houston Police Department’s Homicide Division Cold Case Squad revisited the case and conducted further analysis of DNA evidence.
