It's just so devastating how senseless and tragic this case is. I’ve been following the updates on the Lumberton community forums and it seems the hardest part right now is the lack of clarity over what really happened to little Legacy. I can’t imagine the pain her family must be enduring.
I’ve read that Legacy was such a joyful and lively little girl, and to think that her life was cut short like this is almost unbearable. It’s perplexing and immensely frustrating that no arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified. I really hope that the Sheriff's Office is piecing together something behind the scenes.
Does anyone know if the area around Singletary Church Road or Highway 211 East has any surveillance cameras? It seems like that could be critical in piecing together the events of that day. If anyone has any tips or even a possible lead, please reach out to the authorities. At the end of the day, justice for Legacy is what this community needs to heal and support her family through such an unimaginable loss.
I can't stop thinking about the brave citizen who attempted to rush Legacy to the hospital. Can you imagine being in such a situation, trying everything possible to help an innocent child? My heart really goes out to them as well as Legacy's family. It must have been an incredibly intense and emotional moment, filled with hope and fear. I hope that they are finding support during this difficult time and know that their efforts were truly heroic.
