Hey everyone, just wanted to share some thoughts about Benny Smith Jr.’s case that's been weighing on my mind. I can't even imagine what his family and friends are going through right now with such an inexplicable loss. What really unsettles me is the fact that this happened out in the open on Washington Street. It's not like it was in some secluded spot, which makes you think someone must have seen or heard something. We always hear about the need for community involvement, and it couldn't be truer in this situation. I've been reading how the area has had its challenges with violent crime, and Benny’s case just highlights how crucial it is for people to come forward with any piece of information, no matter how small it might seem. It's really frustrating to see no arrests or suspects after all this time. If we're ever going to make our communities safer, it really does start with looking out for one another. Please, if someone out there knows anything, reach out to Detective Ed Strickland at the Lumberton PD. Benny's family and our community deserve answers.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to chime in on the discussion about Benny Smith Jr.'s case. It's such a tragic situation, and my heart goes out to his family and everyone who knew him. I was thinking about the lack of witnesses coming forward—it’s puzzling. Did anyone happen to check if there were any security cameras on Washington Street or even nearby businesses? These days, with cameras everywhere, you’d think there might be some footage that could provide more clues. Maybe it’s worth re-examining that aspect of the investigation? I'm hopeful someone will speak up soon, and justice can be served for Benny. Keep safe, everyone.
