Just thinking about how much trust and faith Brandon's family must have put in the system, and now they find themselves navigating this nightmare. I can't even imagine the pain they're going through. It’s been almost two months since his life was taken so senselessly. I keep coming back to the role that technology like ShotSpotter plays in cases like these. If it wasn't for that alert, who knows how much longer it might have been before someone found Brandon. It's amazing to think how a system built to detect gunfire can offer a glimmer of hope in the midst of tragedy. My heart goes out to anyone who knew and loved Brandon. These updates don’t bring him back, but hopefully they serve as a small step towards justice. Would love to hear thoughts on ShotSpotter and its impact on local crime-solving. Have folks seen it work in similar situations elsewhere?
