Hi everyone, I’ve been going through some old articles about Theodoro Javinar’s case, and something really sticks with me — the community's reaction at the time. From what I gathered, Theodoro was described as a kind and friendly neighbor; many were shaken by his sudden and violent end. It’s poignant how his passing seemed to erode a sense of safety in the neighborhood that many took for granted. It makes you reflect on how unresolved cases like this linger, not just in the minds of family but among neighbors and friends who knew him. I hope that with renewed interest and perhaps the right person remembering something vital, there might finally be some movement toward justice for Theodoro. If anyone’s reading this, and you lived in the area back then or knew Theodoro, even the smallest detail could be the missing piece. Let’s keep discussing and maybe bring some hope back to his family and community. Stay safe, everyone.

Hi folks, I've been following the discussion about Theodoro Javinar's case, and I'm really curious about the neighborhood dynamics on North School Street back in '89. Does anyone have any insight into what the community was like during that time? I've read that some areas in Honolulu were tight-knit, where everyone knew everyone. I'm wondering if it's possible that someone might have seen or heard something that could shed light on what happened to Mr. Javinar. It's incredibly sad to think that the family still doesn't have answers after all these years. Maybe looking at how the community interacted back then could help jog someone’s memory. If anyone recalls any details about that area or the people around, it might be worth revisiting. Thoughts?
