I can't get over the fact that Shamar was just trying to look out for a friend when this happened. It speaks volumes about his character—he must have been a wonderful person, caring enough to stand up for someone else, even if it put him in harm's way. I can't begin to fathom the pain his family is enduring right now, and my heart goes out to them and everyone who knew him. This is such a reminder of how senseless violence affects not just the lives directly involved but ripples through families and communities. I hope this case sparks more conversations about how we can protect our young ones better and prevent future tragedies. Please, if anyone has more details or sees anything around the area, do reach out to the authorities. We need justice for Shamar and safer spaces for our kids.
