Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the possibility that Kevin McDonald might have wandered off on foot and perhaps someone spotted him but didn't realize he was missing. Mooresville is a pretty close-knit community, so it just seems odd that no one has reported seeing him after March 7, 2018. I know there's a lot of wooded areas and trails around here. I'm curious if anyone knows whether those places were thoroughly searched early on. Sometimes those areas can be challenging to comb through, especially if someone was just passing through and not sticking to main paths. It just might be worth considering any old farm buildings or storage sheds where someone might have sought shelter. Also, a Silver Alert was issued because of his potential cognitive impairments. It's tragic to think that someone could be out there needing help but unable to ask for it. If anyone has ties to those search efforts or any local knowledge, it would be great to hear your insights. It's been too long without answers.
