In the early morning hours of February 21, 2025, a tragic event unfolded at a QuikTrip gas station located at the intersection of 27th Avenue and Thomas in west Phoenix. The incident, believed to have started as a robbery attempt, ended in the death of Naul Hernandez. He was a 55-year-old father who was originally from Durango, Mexico.
