I wanted to share my thoughts on the recent tragic shooting in Charlotte, NC, involving Jah’Zir Elijah Jackson. It's deeply distressing to see such devastating violence affecting young lives in our communities. My heart goes out to Jah’Zir's family and friends—losing someone so young to such senseless violence is every parent's nightmare. One aspect that's been on my mind is the location—Apex Landing Way, near Avion Point apartments. It makes you wonder about the safety of neighborhoods and the impact on residents who might have witnessed or heard the shootout. I can’t imagine what they must be feeling, knowing a life was lost right outside their homes. I hope this serves as a wake-up call for more community action and support. It’s crucial for neighborhoods to come together to push for change and improved safety measures. If anyone in that area has insights or feels compelled to share more about the community's response, it might be helpful for others trying to understand the wider impact of this incident. Stay safe, everyone.
