Does anyone else find it strange that Jalen McCuin's last known contact was with his grandfather at his apartment, and then he just vanished without a trace? It's so puzzling that no one in the area seems to have seen or heard anything around the time of his disappearance. I've been re-reading some articles, and I can't help but wonder if there's more information that hasn't been released to the public yet. Especially with Jalen's mental health conditions, it's really concerning that he could still be out there somewhere needing help. I feel like the woods around Earlham College might hold some clues, but it seems like such a vast area to search. Richmond Police and the community must have their work cut out for them. Anyone have insight on if there have been any organized searches or if there was ever an appeal for volunteers to help out with that? Hoping for any updates.

hello. i am jalen’s little sister and it’s been 6 years since he’s gone missing. i don’t know if you’ll see this but i really appreciate your interest in the case still. i can tell you that there’s been no updates and richmond police department did close to nothing to help. we put up our own posters and spent so much time searching on our own. i would love to talk more about this with you

Did anyone look into Jalen McCuin’s activity around Earlham College before he vanished? I know he liked spending time in those woods, but I'm curious if he ever met up with anyone there or if anyone saw him in the days leading up to his disappearance. It's such a familiar spot for him; I wonder if there's any chance he wrote or left something behind that could help locate him or provide clues about where he might have gone. Hoping his fondness for the outdoors leads to some new information. If anyone local remembers seeing anything, even the smallest details could help his family and the investigators.
Hey everyone, I just wanted to chime in with something I've been pondering regarding Jalen McCuin's case. Has anyone else noticed how quiet the area around Earlham College gets, especially the wooded parts Jalen would visit? I went there once during a summer and was struck by how isolated some of those spots are. It's really possible to go unnoticed if you're not on the main trails. I wonder if more thorough searches could be done in the less-traveled areas. Those woods have so many nooks and crannies, it seems like it would be easy to miss something.
Also, the intersection where Jalen’s apartment is located doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic and is somewhat secluded. I can't help but think about whether anyone might have seen something useful that hasn't come forward yet. I just hope he’s out there safe somewhere, and maybe someone will finally recognize or remember something. Keep your eyes open!
