I've been following the McRae Street case and can't stop thinking about the role technology plays in these investigations. It’s remarkable to consider how ShotSpotter technology alerted the police to the scene so quickly. It’s almost like it gives voice to victims who can’t seek help themselves. Yet, despite this advantage, we’re still lacking solid leads. It makes me wonder if there are other tech tools or methods that could have been employed or if there’s evidence that's being overlooked. Given how much Jac’qual and Timothy’s loved ones are hurting, I hope there will be more advancements that can help solve cases like this one. Does anyone know if there are other tech methods that can complement ShotSpotter in ongoing investigations? My heart goes out to the families still waiting for answers.
