I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how the community has come together in the aftermath of Tommy Johnson's tragic death. It's a testament to the strength and resilience of the folks in Merry Hill and Plymouth. As heartbreaking as this situation is, it's heartwarming to see how people can come together in support of the Johnson family and each other. I attended the Homegoing Celebration, and the love and respect shown for Tommy was palpable. It's clear he touched so many lives, and the stories shared truly painted a picture of a man deeply dedicated to his faith, family, and community. While the arrest of Robert D. Wilson has brought some relief, it also reminds us of the pressing need to address the violence that affects our communities. I hope continued discussions and actions are taken to prevent similar tragedies. It's just so important for all of us to remain engaged and supportive, not only to help solve current cases but also to foster a safer environment for the future. Sending love and strength to all who knew and loved Tommy. ?
