I can't stop thinking about the timing of these incidents. Two shootings in one day in a small community like Pembroke is truly concerning, and my heart goes out to everyone affected. It's hard to wrap my head around how something like this can happen in a place that's supposed to feel like home and safe haven for so many. Keith Oxendine's death is such a tragic loss, and for those who knew him, it must be incredibly difficult to cope with the aftermath. I didn't know him personally, but I can't help but feel for his family and friends during this terrible time. I hope that the authorities working on this case are able to uncover the truth swiftly, not just for his loved ones, but for the peace of the community as a whole. And then there's the woman who was shot at the Pembroke Mini Mart. Domestic-related or not, violence like this is just so jarring. It's a relief to hear she's stable, but I can only imagine the trauma she must be dealing with right now. I truly hope she has the support she needs to recover both physically and emotionally. For anyone with information, please don't hesitate to reach out to the police. Every little detail might help bring justice and perhaps prevent further violence. Let's rally together as a community and support each other through these tough times.

Just read about the tragic event on Lowry Street. Can you believe Keith Oxendine was just going about his life, and it was stolen from him in such a senseless way? I can't even begin to fathom the pain his family must be going through right now. ? It's a bit relieving to hear there's no immediate threat to the public, but the uncertainty around who could've done this makes me uneasy. Has anyone heard anything more on the person of interest the police are looking into? I'm really hoping more info comes to light soon. Anyway, if anyone knows anything, no matter how small, please contact the Pembroke PD. Oxendine's loved ones deserve some answers, and the community could really use some peace of mind right now. Stay safe, everyone.
