I was scrolling through the forums and couldn't help but think about how incredibly resilient the community of Red Springs has been through all of this. It's so important to show support for Ja'wuane's family and friends during such an unimaginable time. I've heard that the Golden Gates Funeral Home was packed with people who wanted to show their love and respect. It really goes to show the kind of impact Ja'wuane had on those around him. I didn't know him personally, but from what I've read, he seemed like a really bright young man with so much ahead of him. If anyone reading this has even the slightest piece of information about what happened that night on Grantham Street, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Every little bit can help make a difference for Ja'wuane's loved ones and possibly bring them some peace and closure.

I can't stop thinking about the community's vigil for Ja'wuane Baker. I wasn't able to attend, but hearing everyone talk about how packed it was just shows how much love there was for him. It’s clear he had such a huge impact on people. I can’t imagine what his family must be going through right now. It's such a small town, and with everyone knowing everyone, it feels like we're all in this together trying to find answers. This kind of violence is not what Red Springs is about, and it’s terrifying to think that the suspect hasn't been caught yet. I'm hoping that the right person speaks up soon to help bring some peace to his family. If anyone knows anything, please, please step forward. Remember, you can stay anonymous. Let's all do our part to see justice served.
